Making progress: With a second patch, I were completely remove Messenger its catalog was manually removed by me in file. So it looks like this patch is essential for some alterations in to actually be effective, other than a simple alteration of verification routines. Now, one more step is taking out the Battery unsigned issue.

As for Gurgelmeyer and USP5 - he didnt modify any signed system files so no additional patching was necessary except for that installer.
