I not have the issue. i recently get the installer package from your realtek site plus it takes care of the uninstall-reboot, install-reboot plus the change is completed. hardly anything else but drivers and software process continues to be very smooth and since v2.71. i not really know bout the and/or the things they tack on and whether an opt out dialogue box is added. I do not use that method anymore. a direct realtek site download. simple to find and accomplish, and have absolutely been safe and clean for years
