I downloaded the file, installed it on the Sony VGN-N365E laptop with core duo processor. I booted from cd, It showed dos errors for approximately 30 minutes then, cranked up OSX install. i'd to reformat a partition on my small HD for OSX extended journaled, The install completed and Leopard is running great, Wifi works, as well as its even faster than my Macbook 13 nch together with the same processor. However, there's no sound we MUST boot in the disc to get on the operating system. Afterwards i'm able to eject the disc and employ the mac as usual. The only other, small glitch i noticed was the tap to click around the touchpad out of stock and the battery bar doesnt exist. Besides that, great job within this OS!!!

And 4900 leechers -.- Everyone is stuck at 89%, in case a seed could seriously and get us to 100% we will get atleast another 15 seeders from my peer list. The download will go pretty good, I m navigating around 600kB/s 40% done, and I ll full force seed once I have it downloaded.

If my file would get any farther than 89.9% I could be glad to remain seeding the file after it turned out finished. sigh I m currently uploading at 50kBps which is really a hell of a great deal more than I m capable to download which in turn sits around 0.1 to 0.5kBps. Hey guys achieved it actually benefit anyone? I booted up and my computer keeps restarting when its seeking to load the kernel.
Downloaded the torrent, burned the DVD, and restarted more than once, merely to be greeted using a box telling me I must restart my computer. Googled it, and apparently it s a Kernel Panic, which doesn t let me much.

update on above i with some searching discovered that you need to respond immediately otherwise it attempts to look for the non existent file.
unfortunately the dvd activity indicator only flashed several times and yes it is stuck around the spinning wheel and yes it never boots.
i forgot to say there is simply 256 meg of ram from the machine i wouldnt think that may cause any problems ever since the boot is incredibly minimal and os x posseses an always on virtual memory.

Next step if someone else has trouble with blank screen and cursor blinking boot install disk, press f8 in beginning, when asked and enter in boot parameters: rddisk0s1 without quotes. it will boot you system using installation disc.
the file after unzip is 2, 44 GB once i burn it using nero 7 it shows which the dvd is simply 542 KB used, while i boot on the dvd it says loading darwing and after that just reboots again into windows, help anyone???
wait, windows says iso image is 2 621 407 232 bytes big. if this could be the same in your case then you will need to throw out bloated nero sht.

I installed it and yes it worked once. After restart I got a black screen that has a blinking dash. i reinstalled and the same principle again.

looks being a botch up was dun for the latest because at 2 gig it's not sufficient to hold the startup files.

after some work i found out that it may certainly be a bad mother board because whilst the in staller with the uphuck version of 10.4.9 booted the harddrive was not being recognized.
and i really tried it within a hp pavilion 500 intel celeron cpu.
plus the dvd started too and gave a kernel panic for 10.4.9 and leopard wouldn't normally work either.
are i'm sure that celerons are intel but do they really act like amd s?

I have installed iATKOS though I am unsure if I ve selected the appropriate configuration settings. I ve tried several configurations, none seem to start fully. The closest I could get is booting off the harddrive but only in the event the leopard disc is inside CD tray, loading nearly all of Leopard, and coming with a screen that states I must restart my machine. Without the disc from the tray, Bios checks for CD boot, drops down one line, and sits that has a blinking cursor indefinately.
is anyone able to try and do this with a machine already running XP without losing everything? i only have use of my Sony VAIO presently and do not wish to lose all of the programs that had it

but guys. i could using it with cd boot method i described and enjoyed it for fifteen minutes. guess what happens? i obtained this feeling like we've to have macbook your cute apple on cover on it's own and put on ubuntu linux. because my ubuntu is much more handy also it has more features. i love the way i will customize it and yes it has more eye candy.
oh well so much for this, you go on and try, ive made my decision. actually i simply need that cute looking laptop not os. linux is way more good already. later it'll be even better

Just installed Leopard over my existing dual-boot Vista/OSX 10.4.9 system, leopard installed fine, but once I go to register, I select location and keyboard, but that won t ok, i'll get past some time machine backup/restore screen. In the old install I could quit the registration process by pressing AltQ aka AppleQ but that one refuses de-activate or continue. Any ideas? I just press continue without restoring also it dumps me back to your first screen again pick location. Cheers guys.

For me it absolutely was one easy step. I bought the leopard disc put it within my Macbook and voila, I installed Leopard. Apparently everybody want what Apple offers. Just man up and find one, you won t be dissatisfied.
