Sound being a hardware propblem. Mine was doing a similar thing. Problem was the hard disk drive was failing. Could also be you're not meeting the minimum specs to own it. Windows 7 needs no less than a 2ghz processor and 4gb of ram

Ive been using win7 mainly because it came out also it hasnt had any of such problems. If you took the couple of minutes it takes to disable the historical past sounds they wouldnt be problems. Please dont write an assessment on an OS you obviously don't know anything about. Also being a side note windows was set up for the more professional interface compared to macs witch is a lot more of an entertainment interface.

Not an enormous change from Vista. I had no complications with vista before I upgraded, but Windows 7 is a real nice change. Its lots faster for an OS and I was rather glad to have rid in the crapware on my small old OS when I did this clean install.
