Unfortunately I haven t committed to creating scriptsexports in the information instructed to support the underlying hands-on-labs. While a TPC export would address some with the labs, others require additional artifacts builds, web page deployments, reporting warehouse that wouldn t be captured in the pure TPC export. Downloaded the VPC 2007 version to my Dell Latitude notebook. I have only 2 Gigs of RAM about the machine and wasn t capable of run the VM past while using Windows logon screen. The readme says I need 4GB of RAM which I don t have. Would be nice if I had step-by-step videos on the labs so I could ateast educate yourself on the tools. Already have Vista, VS 2010, and TFS 2010, installed with about the latitude. Out of ideas.
You re right, 2GB of physical memory is not truly going being enough to experience a successful time primarily VM s, especially this one which can be running a great deal of server software. Just FYI, the VM does run in my 2GB RAM Windows 7 Dell desktop. I allocated 1GB to your VM plus it responds fairly well. Even though it s underneath the recommended minimum I took a chance also it works fine, to have other issues as an example you better have about 50 gigs of free space about the hard drive before you begin, etc. Just sayin, FWIW
