I hate learning curves. I was happy with Videopad for Windows 7, but that doesnt work with Win 8. Maybe they improved this system, but I cant make use of it. Ive tried their particular video training along with going on Youtube, but I cant figure it out. Old version was easy: you could potentially drag film onto its field, click on the beginning arrow, go through the ending arrow, push the down arrow, then go again until finished. Easy upload for audio and video clips, excellent effects library for transitions, and straightforward to use being a beginner.
audio lag when uploading video from webcam, if fine-tuning is necessary, then it's not necessarily so convenient to use.
The only reason it gets to be a three rather than four-star rating is that the finished product for just a project by using a webcam arrived pixelated, choppy, and from synch. Otherwise, if utilizing it for basic editing of home videos, its a superb program.

good rendering quality in AVI format.

There are NO GOOD POINTS because it will not work!
Does not work by any means. The video section doesn't work, and that is very bad because the applications are supposed to become a video editor.
Online format conversion may be good in principle but leaves a lot to get desired in reality.
The version I reviewed is 2.41. If the current version is 2.41, DO NOT download it because it'll be a waste of one's time. Again, quite sure DOES NOT WORK.
