Please note you are unable to install custom recovery on hand KK via any method with the D802T Australian variant and have it on top of that. LG hasn't released kernel source code for Aussie variant, for KK, so Loki exploit rule isn't followed. If you desire a custom recovery under KK you should install a custom ROM with already patched kernel. If you want to stay on JB 4.2.2, however, you'll be able to indeed root and/or install TWRP without hassle on stock.
If you need to install TWRP on KK, be sure you do your prep and still have the custom ROM associated with preference copied to SD card, while you install TWRP you must boot into custom recovery immediately and you install ROM. Then phone will successfully boot.

I used this app because after litereally sitting for 15 hours seeking to find a approach to trwp my LG G2 LS980 sprint, i finally was competent to with above app. only issue when i followed all instructions about how to set up custom firmware i was using Liquid Smooth incidentally mainly for that Working WIFI hotspot and tethering, when it absolutely was complete and rebooted in only looped within the LG splash screen and that has been it.

Update: it only happens when the product goes into sleep mode. When the screen turns back on by either double tapping or with all the power button it really is covered in lines.
