This generally seems to occur with anything more than 5 minutes roughly on my 1 GhZ Athlon system. But its something I can accept.
Aside from that, along with the inability to insert video within the timeline and never having to manually move other components like video and audio supers, this is really a neat little editor. If you plan, and assemble your components from front to back, it works pretty fast.

Exact same issue as previous poster. Constant transcode buffer flushing with VS8, never with VS7. These occur once the system cannot transcode the DV stream for the fly. My system is really a P4 2.5GHz w/a dedicated 200GB drive for capture. Same useless advice from Ulead tech help, which, in addition, may be the worst tech help Ive ever endured. No callbacks, no respond to emails, poor advice, deficiency of concern on their own part, etc.
Solution would be to reload VS7 on the body. You can have multiple versions of VS on one's body with no problems, I have 6, 7, and 8 loaded. Workaround would be to record in DV and transcode later.
