This program does use Windows 7, although you may need to utilize Windows XP compatibility mode. The only function I cannot get to work may be the html text objects, which I do miss. I may install the Windows XP mode in this little computer only to solve this challenge, though compatibility mode is good enough to obtain all on the other features to function just fine.

I have accumulated quite a few graphics editors that came bundled with assorted graphics products, and a few with Windows itself. Of all these I have found PhotoImpact for being the most useful, while it has many flaws and inconveniences ie: the need to click Edit and scroll to crop each time you want to crop a picture gets old quickly. Unfortunately, uLead itself leaves a great deal to become desired - the free downloads and trial versions require many attempts at download; a contact I delivered to their tech support has never been answered, etc

Although this is often a relatively old program, Im still using Photoimpact 4.2 for the ease of use, speed, and suppleness. The tool panel is easy for getting to, and navigation flows well. Its ideal for fixing up digitized images from negatives and slides, considering that the undo feature can go back to I think 6 or 8 steps fantastic like what youve repaired. Changing dimensions, formats and resolution is very fast, and again, you are able to undo it quickly. Ive never had it crash. When I first got v4.2, I had Windows 98. Now Ive got Windows XP, and then there are no problems at the same time. The results I get while using v4.2 are virtually indistinguishable in the results Ive gotten from Photoshop 7. I dont do much regarding special effects, but Ive tried stitching images together, and pasting with excellent results. Its a fantastic, solid program made easy for your beginner, and it has enough features for your advanced people.

I had this program over a cd when I got my computer well, i didnt buy it and that i am glad i always got it at no cost! Well it can be kinda confusing, nevertheless the most part i understand will be the part when you may use special tools like transform pictures, do wind and blur effects and a great deal more effects it is really a pretty good program. the onlye reason i have 3 stars is that i cant see how you do other things realy which madedit for webpages could well be really of great help for my website!
