For every time I have spent trying to clear out all the junk this application combined with my computer, I am influenced to never use CNET again. Dont download this app, download GOM instead.

had this player for decades. when vlc player doesn't work this one gets it a lot of the time. proved helpful in XP for those years.

Just installed. 01/08/2014.
converted 3gpp video to mp3 audio. Listened a couple of seconds. Sounds good thus far.
Used direct download link on CNET page as an alternative to using the CNETs large green Download Now button.
Chose custom each and every prompt during installation. Unchecked everything.
Running full virus scan now simply to see. Will update.
After installation, ran Malware Malbyes. Found adware. Removed.
Looks like adware was included file. No way to prevent it.
Installed the Conduit malware on my own laptop. Kept getting errors. Malware/spyware programs don't find this issue. Had to download Microsoft Autoruns that can help get rid of Conduit and all of its start-up programs.
Could not have this program to be effective.

WELL I DID READ A FEW REVIEWS AND ONE SAID BEWARE OF MALWARE. BUT I TOOK A CHANCE AND DOWNLOADED LOL. LUCKLY I SCAN THE SET-UP FILES BEFORE I DO AN INSTALL AND LOW AND BEHOLD MY VIRUS SCAN PICKED UP MULTIPLE THREATS. NOT COOL AT ALL.
This converted onto my phone without any hitches whatsoever excellent freeware.

system did actually lock up during conversion. never got a finished file conversion.
not worth downloading. also now use a Babylon google search that I never accepted accept download. removed it but it really is still running somewhere.
unknown. refused to take the agreement after looking at it and allowing spyware installation.
seeing the user agreement i fount it unacceptable to possess spyware cookies to observe my activities i really cancelled installation and deleted the install file.
