Learn More Product Warranty: For warranty specifics of this product, please click this link This game is tremendous long-term fun and enjoyment! Both its simplicity and depth draws you in. Tactics and strategy are paramount. SimCity infrastructure and systematic, medium to long-range planning is important for building units along with other machines. However, this doesnt do squat in your case if you dont possess the close-in combat tactics - and also the finer understanding which land, air, sea unit or combination will bring you results. The 3rd-person point-of-view is the most suitable when commanding a huge selection of units and war-making capabilities. The graphics and sound score is killer. Youve got to see some from the explosions - these are cool! You cant understand this type of super incendiary stuff from WarCraft. Add on units, maps, and scenarios are readily available about the Cavedog site. Ive played 3vs1, 2vs2, and 1vs1 on various networks from NY, OH, and CA combatants together no major problems. This people versus people completely changes your strategy and tactics - making the action that much more high-value. My only minor peave is you need more compared to standard 10 quick-team assignments for anyone intense campaigns. Regardless, Ive been playing for 1 years - yet still love it. Thank you on your feedback. n Man the game is awesome. Ive been with them for two years thus far. The campaigns are fantastic, but skirmish mode is only the best. I love blowing everything away with my long range cannons, raising an enormous air force, and building huge navies. The commander is ultra cool in reference to his D-Gun, which blows away anything to use path. The only complaint is always that the AI is actually bad inside naval department. It doesnt build mass hordes of ships as if it does land units. Skirmish mode is very one from the best in every RTS though. For the low cost you really cant get it wrong buying this classic. Oh and also the music. The music may be the best score I have ever been told by any game. And let's face it Ive played many games. Its a fantastic orchestra set that in some way draws you in. Man Id pay so that I could play in the music within my CD player. Thank you to your feedback. n First coming from all this is one my record favorite games we were young, and it is fantastic. That being said it is really an old game and it has issues on win 7 so I obtained the edition including bug fixes for modern hardware and its particular cheaper sorry amazon, plus it runs great on my own quad core x64 win 7 machine. If you like classic strategy games then youll love this, but be sure to pick in the fixed edition. Thank you on your feedback. n A friend of my bought a game title at a store and returned it because his computer couldnt handle the needs. So he returned it but couldnt receives a commission back, so he got the game. After having to get a month, he finally started to experience it understanding that was it. In the end, another friend and myself started getting together 3 x a week playing the game for over 24 months straight against one another. I have probably played over 10, 000 battles. And you are able to download free units and maps on the internet. Very cool. The game is very fast paced with lots of buildings, units, along with other weapons. I still play the game to this day similar to my friends. I recommend farmville to everyone and I hope that they make the sequel. Thank you for ones feedback. n I adore TA. So Im planning to try to focus about the bad points tobe objective, but I doubt Ill manage to. First, the graphics aredated. The game arrived 5 in years past, therefore thats to get expected. However, since its a top-down strat game, its 2-D anyway, as well as the visuals, although not crisp per se, are wonderful. Next, some with the maps can be a little annoying, or predictable, or redundant. However, since Cavedog released Battle Tactics and Core Contingency, and you can find more available around the web, you'll find certainly enough for making any fan happy. Third, I suppose people would ask why they must buy this type of outdated game, particularly if Ive said you've to choose the add-ons to create the experience complete. The Commander packthe base game, as well as the two add-ons, along with a huge strat guide, to the minimal price and also you get literally hours of delight! And all you could have to do is select one other TA addict and youve got many times much fun in multiplayer, since thats where the action really shines. The game looks her age enough that a majority of any system works with it without difficulty, along with Cavedogs addition of additional units and several user-created maps and units available within the web, the overall game is a no-brainer. Go! Scrape the progres out of your couch and snap up the action! Thank you on your feedback. n Even though the bingo is getting old, nevertheless runs perfectlyon my Windows 98SE PC and my Windows 2000 PC. The graphics wereamazing for the day, and are also still VERY good. The 3D terrain is VERY well completed to. You can play at higher resolutions I usually use 1280x1024 to discover more from the map; I wish more games had this feature! There are TONS of free units and maps available about the web see and click around the TAUIP button for additional units, causeing the the most replayable game Ive ever owned. Even the AI has become extended by gamers! Its amazing simply how much effort regular gamers continue to be putting into mafia wars new maps, new units, new AIs, new utilities, etc.! Its a MUST-HAVE! END Thank you for ones feedback. n Sad, once you think about it, it took me that long. Anyways, there are some things that make mafia wars really unique. The first one would be the number of units about the two sides. a tad over 60 for both sides. the next one is which it is simple to program that there are a whole lot of mods about the internet for doing this. when i say mods, i dont mean those weak excuses that starcraft and warcraft have for mods, after all real mods. the complete game is replaced, sparing exactly the engine in most. third, smaller as opposed to other two however important, may be the diversity and usefulness of aircraft. in many other games, they exist using the sole aim of taking out defenses which means your ground forces can destroy their base with little resistance. in Total Annihilation the aircraft works extremely well, unsupported, to destroy bases. Oh, i almost forgot. the beds base defenses are impressive, as opposed to command and conquer as well as the blizzard RTSs. Very old, but at 5-6 bucks, an excellent bargain. Thank you for the feedback. n Only one half the experience works. It works untill you commence to build airforce then stops. I had the bingo before also it worked find. Boyfriend loved it and hubby was able to patch it relatively quickly. best game within the world!!!! spent my childhood years playing farmville super happy to get able to think it is again havent stopped playing it Greatest robot RTS ever. There is often a community of an individual still updating mafia wars. I actually lost this copy on the game im reviewing i acquired it again online being a download. Published 13 months ago by Curtis G. I rmember playing this thing I think 20 in the past, and rediscovered it. Not sure they've already improved much for the overall concept in fact these years. I recomend the game for anyone who enjoys commanding huge armies. It works fine on Windows 7 whilst still being looks amazing. Read more Theres a challenge loading this menu at this time.
