I know it was posted long ago, but I have realized that the crashing personally had to do with just how long I accepted finish the extent. Do not take too much time and you should complete. Mine would crash toward the end with the level, ensure you save your progress the further you receive.

sorry I replied so late, but no I just used it a while ago as well as some reason the audio works perfectly, I closed it and opened it again a few times and seems well, it truly does work. Mustve been simply my glitchy speakers I assume.

in case you play with all the hero submod thats normal because i didnt translated it; however if you play just while using edain mod you will have no problem to learn the powers with the few missing files.

Therefore the Dwarves from the Iron Hills received some slight changes for Edain. The base armor style hails from D in Ironfoots noble armor, but altered in a few details. We deliberately kept our classic red and grey color scheme so they really will still be easily identifyable even well away, and some of their former Edain personality. Also the forked beards described from the books had to get kept, though with a more practical length.
Since their new visual style heavily armored reaches odds using playstyle to date light and fast, we took this for an opportunity to overhaul their basic gameplay too. The new Iron Hills will have a very focus on defence. The Guardians should be able to upgrade their small shields on the movie to some tower shield that blocks arrow better. The Phalanx are going to be equipped with shields at the same time, to be able to form shieldwalls as seen inside the Battle of Five Armies. Their ranged soldiers will carry heavy crossbows to improve defend their position, instead in the former swift bows.
Of course there are lots of more changes happening inside Iron Hills, also as inside the other two Dwarven Dwellings. Changing one Underground Kingdom starts an avalanche of necessary changes everywhere our Dwarven faction. We felt some time was suitable for another groundbreaking revision in the Khazad.

updated 04.02.06: I wont recap the games features or settings-others did a fine job of their. As a baseline, heres what Ive played thus far after a couple of days: all 20 2-player skirmishes to victory, the Good Campaign to victory, the Evil Campaign to victory, plus a War with the Ring game to victory. Ive also done some on-line playing, and Im currently working my way through the skirmishes again together with the difficulty level set higher.
Its very easy to pick up. True, I had played through BFME-1, but that had been long enough ago, and BFME-2 is different enough, so it wasnt certain. The built-in tutorials were great, and, yes, since I dont use a lot of sparetime, I bought the PRIMA game guide.
Its addictive. Not quite the electronic crack that Civ4 is, but Ive spent far added time playing it during the last a few days than I than I thought I would.
I know other reviews here have complaints about installation and system compatibility, but in my opinion its worked fine out with the box the 1.01 patch using a system that I has never been able to obtain Civ4 completely stable on.
I benefit from the music graphics voice work cut scenes. Of course, BFME - 2 gets the advantage of every one of the LOTR movie music, art design, etc.
