While there are more remote administration technologies that I tend to work with/prefer, a project that I recently took over needed that I warm back up to pcAnywhere. I had, obviously, stopped utilizing it several versions ago once the Baby Swiss Cheese I love looked solid in I am very happy to report that Symantec have not only fixed the compromised code, but in addition improved this program itself. Rather than the arcane obtuse use of my memory, the brand new version is truly a well outlined and functional tool. While it probably wont yet regain is there a position around my tool list, it continues to be removed from your never side with the ledger. I employ a Windows Vista computer communicating using a Windows 7 computer. The software simply doesnt work. Its EXTREMELY slow and unreliable. Also the graphics are way enlarged and unworkable. I possess a BS in computer science so I know slightly about them. This software is trash. Use Remote Desktop instead. It works Great and it is free!

I can't get it to be effective and my COMPUTER TECH can't get it to operate. Finally lost the fight after two tries to contact Symantec. Once I got stop and I dont remember what went down the other time. We thought it could are already a firewall issue that prevented connection, however if my computer guy couldnt figure it out, I certainly couldnt. 100 down the sink. Ive since heard it described as PC Nowhere. That was my experience. On a positive note, it came quickly after I ordered it. That was really the only positive.
