This album is often a true trash metal masterpiece. It started all in 1985 to be a side project by Scott Ian, guitarist of Anthrax. Recorded in 3 days it arrived to be something similar to nothing else before: furious, mean, funny and high as hell. I still see it now in 2004 after almost twenty years from its birth!!
Its unbelievable how well it aged over time. I heard it caused many controversy because on the lyrics but I dindnt care many years ago when I dindnt even get yourself a word of english im italian and I dont care now as I look at the cd booklet. Besides the lyrics were never should have been that serious. Anyways if you want trash metal bands like suicidal tendencies or anthrax you are going to love sod speak english or die!

If you didnt know this became the introouttro music on the hold headbangers ball with Adam Curry. This licks weight too much and rock, the lyrics are outrageous along with a riot. Read to the lyrics everything you no big issue. It is usually a silly album sung in character, and expresses feelings all have sometimes. It is just a fun, crazy thrash fest. understand it!!

Anthrax on the day off put Stormtroopers of Death about the musical map, and Speak English Or Die is really a musical salute to everyone things silly about metal. Im a techno fan, but this album carries a permanent place of honor during my collection. People who find this album offensive cant handle life, either. This album is FUNNY, people. Back in 1985, there have been significant differences between punk and metal. Punk and hardcore were abrasive and crazy, yet , didnt include a whole lot of technicality around the part on the musicianship. Not sure how theyre getting along, though I doubt issues between Ian and Benante. New EP is originating in August, 4 new songs along with a full concert. Its a superb disk, definitely worth it.

I remember once this record became available when I is at High school, around 1986. I loved this record, unfortunately, never toured until recently. I would have loved to get seen this option! Listening to this Special edition, with a live concert, brought back fond memories of when I could care less about society as well as its rules. A good investment.

I was switched on to these guys inside the early 90s and became a rabid fan - pretty serious considering I was through an art rock revivial back then. These songs are hard-core towards the point of hilarity: durable grinding chords, Billy Milano screaming semi-decipherable lyrics you'd like he can, drums continuing to keep up. Whenever Im in a very bad mood, I hear this for the immediate cheering up. Plus, theres finally some lyrics, adding on the experience.

This album is entirely essential.
