This product is often a bit complicated vs audacity! I was experiencing difficulty in recording my voice and audio together and needed one more voice recorder in this little computer to create it work! I dont think this can be compatible with Windows 8.1. There was no chance to open the files plus the error message stated it hadn't properly downloaded and also the link to iTunes who's directed me to for one more app that could enable file opening hasn't been for Windows 8.1.
