Its an excellent recording software though it may be lacking audio input monitoring. Easy to be effective with loops and midi.
This product DOES NOT have audio input monitoring, meaning if you plug a guitar/bass/microphone in record you cant hear the sounds while that you are recording from the application. Only can in Acid Pro, however, not music studio.
Its a great product, it makes for 16/48000 recording. I would recommend Cakewalks MC5 over this device, it's more functions and has now audio input monitoring and will record at 24/48000 in order to name a couple of things. If your just using the services of loops and midi then this can be all you may need, otherwise, when you are a musician who records their unique music you should think about alternatives.
