Just upgraded hah, hah. New machine. New Sonar Version suckered in it by them offering discount using a plugin extension pack.
Wont load video. Wont work effectively with video after Id wanted and got alternative party drivers. Crashes each of the time.
I reverted to Sonar X1 still on windows 7 on the much faster PC with double the memory. Yet it's HIDEOUSLY SLOW.

After using cakewalk software for a long time I had to finally let go from the hopes they would create products which worked properly.
For around 5 years, each release became a total nightmare because its set with bugs. There are different methods to set-up it depending on different machines. A user must trouble shoot problems and obtain it taking care of their system. Even after that, you will still find too many work-arounds required make use of the software. i dowloaded the demo you'll get, all of that stuff they reveal isnt in that room, not only this the trial version sucks, i couldnt even receive the vst to figure rite, configure the audio and midi a pain from the ass, i installed the edirol sound card outright problems, i had to work with asio4 freebie and if you are attempting to load a drum wave file from the beginning you cant do the installation the program wont help you install wave file the land open this course, that is junk sonar take your products and shove this your AAAAAAAAA

Hi guys I have a yamaha MG166c-usb mixer but cant indipendantly record tracks in a very multitrack ssession, just 1 stream for the many band t edit afterwards. The purpose is to make use of all 16 tracks for any Live recording thats comming up.

I are actually trying to convert my old cakewalk midi files and synced analog tape tracks to Sonar bundled files. After first loading and converting that old cakewalk files to Sonar, I run the tape after some time code and record the tape tracks into Sonar. On playback, the sound recording run faster compared to the midi tracks. I have some clues to the condition, but havent found a fix. Any assist there?

Open console view and click on on one from the small buttons on top of the slider. This allows panning being manual as apposed to automatic, which seems to become the default.

Just upgraded hah, hah. New machine. New Sonar Version suckered involved with it by them offering discount over a plugin extension pack.
Wont load video. Wont be effective with video after Id searched and got 3rd party drivers. Crashes the many time.
I reverted to Sonar X1 still on windows 7 with a much faster PC using more than double the memory. Yet it can be HIDEOUSLY SLOW.

After using cakewalk software for many years I had to finally let go on the hopes how they would create items that worked properly.
For above 5 years, each release would have been a total nightmare because its rich in bugs. There are ways to set-up the program depending on different machines. A user must trouble shoot problems and find it taking care of their system. Even after that, it is possible to too many work-arounds required make use of the software. Also, A LOT of bugs exist in each and every aspect of any area you attempt to work in, its really terrible and keeps a person from making progress on music.
I tend not to recommend cakewalk products to anyone seeking a DAW.

i dowloaded the demo this helps you, all of that stuff they deomonstrate isnt within, not only this the trial version sucks, i couldnt even have the vst to operate rite, configure the audio and midi a pain inside the ass, i installed the edirol sound card just problems, i had make use of asio4 freebie and if you are trying to load a drum wave file right away you cant set it up the program wont enable you to install wave file when you open this course, that is junk sonar take your product or service and shove it down your AAAAAAAAA

Hi guys I have a yamaha MG166c-usb mixer but cant indipendantly record tracks inside a multitrack ssession, just 1 stream for each of the band t edit afterwards. The purpose is to make use of all 16 tracks for just a Live recording thats comming up.

I are actually trying to convert my old cakewalk midi files and synced analog tape tracks to Sonar bundled files. After first loading and converting the earlier cakewalk files to Sonar, I run the tape eventually code and record the tape tracks into Sonar. On playback, the sound recording run faster compared to the midi tracks. I have some clues to the condition, but havent found a fix. Any assist there?

I am a solo musician currently using pro audio 8 to experiment with back midi backups. I was written in context as cakewalk that the foot controller would not help pro audio 8 but would work together with sonar.
I only require basic functions play, stop, loop, etc. Im running from my laptop to some roland xv2020 sound module. Has anybody on the market done this?

Open console view and then click on one on the small buttons on top of the slider. This allows panning to become manual as apposed to automatic, which seems for being the default.
so far I cant manually I dont go to whichever small buttons higher than the volume slider the spot that the panning knob and what is automatic panning anyway? thank you if you'll be able to get me I have Sonar 8.5 loaded on same not a problem panning
