Simcity4 is more of a simulator and less of your game compared to the previous versions.
It will tax you skill to get an american city going profitably. It requires fine tuned therapy for resources and focus to detail, all of which will take time.
The graphics are beautiful and engaging. It runs smoothly on my own pentium4 system having a ge4 4200 graphics card.
The interface is logically outlined and provides all or more of the important information to manage metropolis.
I much like the regional concept. You can start multiple city into the spotlight, interconnect them, and switch to and fro to work to them. You have full ability to build your personal regions and may modify the terrain in endless ways.

i just became a neew emachine e525 and already fed up with playing those games online. i prevously had simcity 4 on our household computer. given that i got my laptop, i'd like it on the. the catch is i ran it several times and all of times it stoped exactly in the same point 27.13%!!! i stumbled upon on windows 7compatability site, that it truly is compatabile together with the 32 bit, but can it be compatable with all the 64bit????

I have sim city 4 deluxe edition running on windows 7 home premium 64 bit laptop.
insert disk 1, don't auto run, observe the disk contents inside a folder.

like i said, this worked to me for sim city 4 deluxe edition. one problem i have with the overall game is that i could only run it in 1024x768 resolution, when i attempt to increase the resolution, nonetheless displays 1024x768 despite i restart the action.
