So I took the bait. Even after each of the research I did on other Simcity forums from individuals who played beta I bought the sport.
Spent about 4 hours from it yesterday and I am quite disappointed within it.
Graphics - Yes it appears very pretty. Even though I was shocked to discover the sims imitating lego characters, overall the buildings and houses etc have become pretty.
Modular upgrades - Excellent idea, and is highly. I never did like the idea behind I need more firetrucks? build 5 more fire stations. Now I can add on top of the Firehouse and expand its coverage this way. Works very well for Police, Fire, Schools, etc.
Curved Roads - I can actually create a realistic looking town. The curved roads are wonderful. However they leave complications with putting down homes and buildings to them at times.
Online DRM - I know everyone complains concerning this. I was willing to handle it. Then the servers was lost and I couldnt play. Is it first day issues? Im not sure but it really was almost ironic if your servers occurred.
City Size - Of course a large complaint, other reviews mention this. Filled up my entire town in the little over sixty minutes.
Diversity of buildings - Where are each of the buildings I want to construct? Im talking places like Museums, Churches, Zoos, Post Offices, etc. etc. I can consider tons of missing content. Were these ignored so EA sell us buildings for 1 each later down the street?
