The download worked fine, however the key code Amazon gave me had not been valid. I contacted Aspyr support, they provided me another code, still would not work. The support people had me get one of these bunch of various things, nothing worked. I was forced to uninstall the overall game and get reimbursement. Bottom line, the Aspyr software packages are horrible. Dont waste your time and effort.

Loved playing Civ. III on my small old PC in the event it first became available in 2001. Was anxious about this download since Civ. IV and V are actually a disappointment if you ask me. Read the many reviews on Amazon indicating that individuals have had difficulty with keys and/or getting the overall game to run on the Mac. Went to to make use of Mac Match to ensure that the overall game would run in this little mini 10.7.5, Intel Core i5, 2 cores, 2.3GHz, 4GB Memory, 500 GB HD, Intel Graphics 3000 384 MB. Not a powerful computer at all, but was thrilled to see all of the green check marks as well as the exuberant report: Will Run! Awesome! This game will definitely run using your Mac mini. Nope. Despite three successive installs, I didnt even arrive at find out if my key works. More like Civ. III Complete Waste of. I actually downloaded it from, but doubt purchasing from Amazon might have made a difference. Caveat emptor. I guess my plans for global domination will need to wait until I find a classic PC and dig out my original software.

It literally just doesnt work! I spent over twenty bucks thinking I was gonna play an existing classic, and instead got a baffling variety of directions that inside the end didnt result within the application actually working. I want my a refund! Im not happy!
Our Civ 3 disk died a couple of years back so we replaced it with Civ 4. While Civ 4 is fun, my son and I missed Civ 3 when we thought it absolutely was more fun and much more challenging than Civ 4. After reading many on the reviews here concerning problems while using download, we hesitated acquiring the download. We need not have access to hesitated as Civ 3 downloaded with out a problem and also the code furnished by Amazon worked. We have only played a little but the experience seems to work perfectly.
Be forewarned the graphics of Civ 3 usually are not up to your quality of Civ 4, the promotions for units are simpler and you'll find fewer unit types. On the plus side, the action flows faster, the maps are bigger and even more varied along with the naval units will be more useful. We prefer Civ 3 over Civ 4.

Was super excited to have mafia wars, bought, and began the download. The download went fine, even so it absolutely WOULD NOT install in my computer. All from the system requirements were met, the file just may not install properly. Customer Service was of no help and basically said tough luck. Do not waste your cash.

Nice ego have the ability to play this on my own iMac. I just wish some from the scenarios included with this version were easily obtainable in later versions.

This product generally seems to only focus on Macs running G5 or G4 processors. Intel Macs wont run this system. They should have elected this clear. At least I got your money back.

NO appear I do it's going to not downlaod and Amazon sucks in this there is no support that can help. I just threw money away for just a game that I can relax with.

It downloaded fine and I had no problem with all the codes but the overall game will not work. whenever i select the civ 3 icon it unexpectantly crashes and tells me to send a blunder report.
